how can i connect additional pairs of speakers to my A/V receiver?

Question: harman-kardon av745 supports zone 2 setup. can i have multiple (3) pairs of speakers going to 3 different rooms using zone 2. (complete separate from my home theater room) how do i set that up if possible? do i need extra equip?

Answer: Don't do it, you will over work your AV receiver. If you still want to do it you can parallel zone to with zone 3. YOu will not get an independent zone. You will be getting the same sound as zone 2. Just take some speaker wires and connect the 3rd set of speakers to the binding post/connection of zone 2. Now if you want to get fancy-get another amplifier take the pre-amp out of zone 2 and feed the amplifier. Then you can drive as may zones as you have amplifier channels. You will be listening to the same audio through out though. It gets costly if you want to have different audio in different zones. You will need a house music system then.
